“To me, dressing a room is like dressing yourself: it’s a creative
outlet, a way to express yourself and bring joy to those around you”.
While I have always had a passion for interiors, DIY and vintage style, the seed for Lisa Comfort Home was planted as I renovated an unloved Victorian house in East London. Creating a home from scratch that also felt like ‘me’ was exciting but challenging.
With so much interior inspiration on Pinterest and Instagram, you can risk losing sight of what you like. It takes confidence, guidance from those you trust, plenty of inspiration plus a pinch of daring and experimentation to create a home that is truly you.
My interiors journey inspired me to launch Lisa Comfort Home - a carefully chosen edit of some of the fabulous home accessories I discovered along the way for my own home.
I love bright colours, inspiring patterns and interesting textiles. I have a signature colour pallet of blues and teals with accented pinks and mustard. I love bold patterns and prints. Lisa Comfort Home is all about making the practical beautiful.
Unique handcrafted and handmade pieces are central to Lisa Comfort Home – whether it’s an illustrated fabric design, a hand-drawn wallpaper or a hand-painted drum from our Karachi collection. I love Bohemian Indian or Moroccan style and tactile natural materials – straw baskets, woollen throws, linen cushions. I am proud to champion independent artisan designers and makers. I hope you love my finds as much as I do.
I am always making my home look more beautiful - something as simple as buying a bunch of flowers can brighten any room. Lisa Comfort Home has become more than just a shop to me, it’s a place where I share my tips and inspiration.
